Rampart Rooms The Rampart Rooms are on the first floor of the Chateau giving onto the rampart gardens and with direct access from the Chateau entrance. Tastefully furnished with antiques and fine paintings, the Rampart Rooms comprise two double bedrooms, one with a view of the main garden, the other in the 14th century round tower with access on to the ramparts. Enjoy the comfortable sitting room, a dining area, a kitchenette (with full hob and oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, etc.), and a modern bathroom with walk-in shower. There is a CD player/radio in the salon. The apartment has its own private terrace garden on the ramparts with garden furniture and barbeque and direct access to the swimming pool. The Ranton castle grounds have extensive, well-kept gardens in the inner courtyard, ramparts and moat, with several quiet and secluded areas. Use of the laundry room, equipped with washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron, is included in the rental. Renaissance Rooms The Renaissance Rooms are on the first floor of the Chateau, giving on the the rampart gardens with direct access to the pool. This apartment is on two floors, with the two double bedrooms on the top floor, with views over the main gardens. On the lower floor there is and a large comfortable sitting room overlooking the garden, a dining area, a kitchen (with full hob and oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, etc.), and modern bathroom with walk in shower. The whole apartment is beautifully furnished with period furniture and fine antiques and art. There is a CD player/radio in the salon. The sitting room and dining area can seat up to 10 people, should one group be occupying the two apartments and/or additional rooms. The Renaissance Rooms have their own private terrace garden on the ramparts with garden furniture and barbeque and direct access to the swimming pool. The Chateau grounds have extensive, well-kept gardens in the inner courtyard, ramparts and moat, with several quiet and secluded areas. Use of the laundry room, equipped with washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron, is included in the rental. Additional Rooms In addition to the two self-contained apartments, the Chateau also has three independent double rooms giving on to the main garden. They are beautifully furnished, with on suite bathrooms. These rooms are available for rental either for bed and breakfast or on a weekly basis for additional guests in the apartments. These rooms are as follows: Chambre du Puits is a large bedroom with a double bed and en-suite shower room, basin and W.C., which you see pictured below. The Grande Chambre vouté, a vaulted double room with twin-beds and en suite shower room, basin and W.C. as shown in the photo below. The Chambre de la Carosse, a bedroom with double bed and bathroom with bath, basin and W.C. which is pictured below.
